§ Salary: $18.50 / hour

§ Term of employment: Full time, Permanent, 40.00 hours/week

Qualifications

• Language: English

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks

• Work Setting: Central food commissary, Catering firm

• Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
• Order supplies and equipment;
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
• Clean kitchen and work areas;
• Manage kitchen operations.
