We are a small, boutique style, retail store.
***You are:
– Looking for a long term, stable, part or full time gig.
– Calm, collected, organized, CLEAN.
– Have at least 1 year of retail or sales experience in Canada.
– Have references from previous jobs that can be verified.
– Preferably know one more language beside English (Mandarin is a big plus) but not a must.
– Can assemble and disassemble furniture (not a daily activity, just once in a while) but not a must.
– Efficient with keyboard (our POS system requires typing).
*** Environment:
You mainly work by yourself.
We are a destination store, so low traffic, high engagement.
You are in charge of this place, like running your own store.
Job is to find the right solution for our customer, not a pushy sales position.
This is mostly customer help and knowing our products very well.
***Hours:
For training: Afternoons, 2-4 hours at a time.
Plan is, after you can run the place, to go 6 hours per day.
You can take minimum 3 days (18 hours / week) or 5 or 6 days per week.
***Pay:
During Training: $16/h (takes about a month)
After: $18/h
After 6 months: $19/h
After 12 months: $20/h
Plus incentives.
