Job Title: Sales and Marketing Director
Location: Pickering, Ontario
Start Date: Immediately
Compensation:
- Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 Annually

Your Day to Day:
The Sales and Marketing Director’s duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute sales and marketing strategy in order to obtain 100% occupancy at Amenida and strengthen community relations.
- Generate leads, reach out to prospective residents, conduct tours of the facility, and complete enrollment to ensure 100% occupancy
- Initiate and execute plans to increase resident retention rate
- Monitor competitive activity, and develop proactive and reactive plans
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales, community engagement and marketing plans inline with strategic goals
- Maintain Inquiry Tracking Report to ensure an accurate record of all tours, sales calls, names, phone numbers and results, etc. for future reference and follow-up.
- Work with the General Manager to ensure rooms are ready for possession.
- Build Community Outreach (hospitals, church and other groups) by working independently in the community, initiating contacts, creating goodwill, and programming recommendations to ensure relevance.
- Makes presentations to professionals and service clubs with the goal of increasing interest and occupancy in the residence
- Provide a weekly report outlining current initiatives.
- Ensures all marketing and admission packages are complete and on hand
- Monitor changes in marketplace, i.e. demographics, changing lifestyles and provides feedback to senior leadership
Marketing Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with marketing department, creating content for marketing collateral to include brochures, direct mail pieces, print advertisements, web copy, customer success stories, news stories, newsletters, email campaigns, press releases and media pitches, multimedia presentations, sales material and corporate pitches, proposals and presentations
- Act as a storyteller by creating and curating shareable content for web, social and offline initiatives. Develop compelling content that inspires positive engagement and brand loyalty
- Proactively manage Amenida Senior Community’s social media engagement including conversations, feedback and questions, identifying any that would require attention
- Ensure marketing content is written with the brand in mind and guaranteeing the best user experience across all platforms.
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Enhance and streamline sales, marketing, customer service processes
- Participates in the Quality Improvement Program.
- Collaborate with General Manager in managing P&L, streamline spending, financial reporting and payroll processing.
What you Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales and Marketing Managerial role from Senior’s Home and Retirement Industry
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized College or University in Marketing or Business
- Knowledge of Senior Home Industry is Required
- Fluency in Korean Or Chinese language is required (in addition to English).
