Chaoyin Bilingual Academy offers the Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired program aiming to spark children in a lifelong love of learning, and support them to develop their foundation in literacy, mathematics, critical thinking, belongings and physical wellbeing. We currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Child Educators for Full-Time contract positions to join our _ Junior-Kindergarten Program (2.5-5 years)._
Chaoyin Bilingual Academy is on the same campus as Chaoyin International School, a K-7 elementary school, located in the central business area of Richmond at 10111 Bird Road, minutes away from Vancouver International Airport, Hwy 99, and the Knight street bridge.
Applicants must:
· Minimum 2 years of experience working with 2.5-6 years old
· Possess a valid ECE certificate
· Montessori/ Reggio Emilia/ training and experience
· Other professional expertise is preferred (French, Music, Visual Art etc.)
- Post basic certification and experience an asset
- Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
· Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills
· Excellent computer skills
· Demonstrated ability of excellence in every area of the curriculum and ability to deliver a program of exemplary quality
· Demonstrated general knowledge of curriculum and instruction for younger learners
· Demonstrated knowledge of various routine tasks, duties, and procedures and the ability to follow specific instructions
· Demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position
· Impeccable attention to detail
Preference will be given to those applicants who:
· have experience in Mandarin and/or Chinese culture
· be willing to work in a collaborative/team environment
· be prepared to use technology (ie: MS Teams, Google Classroom, digital portfolios, for planning, attendance monitoring, communication, classroom instruction and reporting purposes;
· be prepared to work positively towards the fulfillment of the school goals;
