IPERC Education Director Position
IPERC is looking for a part-time or full-time educational consultant to work with universities, high schools, and agents throughout Canada to promote IPERC’s international exchange programs. IPERC has primarily been involved in developing educational programs in the US and is seeking expansion into Canada.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in international education, strong connections with Canadian universities and an understanding of the Canadian education system. The candidate will preferably be located in Toronto or other major Canadian cities.
Responsibilities
· Use your connections in Canadian universities to support IPERC in developing partnerships with these universities and expanding its university programs.
· Support IPERC in developing partnerships with Canadian secondary day schools and manage host family program.
· Act as the main point of contact to answer questions from universities, schools, education agents, etc. related to IPERC programs and manage all relationships formed with education institutions.
· Organize and conduct information sessions and orientations as needed.
· Assess the needs of universities and schools and provide program recommendations.
· Maintain and manage records, reports, and documentation.
· Convert your prospecting efforts into clients through a consultative sales approach, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
· Work closely and collaboratively with IPERC to develop and implement effective solutions for interested agents and education administrators.
· Make direct calls to interested parties, converting your efforts into clients.
Requirements
· Connections in the Canadian University System
· An understanding of customer service and how it relates to a sales role
· Ability to build strong relationships externally and internally
· Strong attention to detail
· Demonstrated ability to respond to the diverse needs of international cultures
· Strong interpersonal, oral & written communications skills
· Chinese language proficiency is preferred
Salary
· Salary is negotiable, depending on full or part time
· Job Type: Part-time starting out, moving to full time later
