About Us
We (Pathways Clubhouse) are a community based non-profit registered charity serving adults in the Vancouver area who are living with mental health challenges. We are located in Richmond, BC and currently have over 300 active members, an average daily attendance of over 70, 25 employees, and are open every day of the year.
We pride ourselves in offering hope, encouragement and opportunities to our members. The services we presently offer include pre-vocational, employment, volunteering, housing, education, physical wellness, social, and public mental health education. Our unique model provides a barrier-free collegial environment where members and staff work together to accomplish the work of the Clubhouse.

Position Summary and About You
Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the effective development, coordination, and operational management of the Employment, Volunteering and Wellness Programs at Pathways Clubhouse. Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Effectively coordinate and direct the operation of the Employment, Volunteering, and Wellness program in being consistent with the mission, goals and policies of Pathways Clubhouse.
· Ensure the program operates within the standards of Clubhouse International while working in collaboration with other Clubhouse services.
· Develop, implement and evaluate program plans, goals, objectives and policies for the Employment, Volunteering, and Wellness programs.
· Ensure members are provided with work, unit, housing, employment, volunteer, education, outreach, physical wellness, community support, and social opportunities.
· Supervise program staff by performing duties such as assigning work, providing feedback and evaluation, determining training requirements, orienting new staff and ensuring appropriate records are maintained.
· Participates in the recruitment and selection of staff by performing duties such as screening applicants, participating on interview panels, providing input in the development of interview questions and making hiring recommendations.
You have a university degree in the Social Services Field or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, combined with at least three years’ experience working with people with mental health conditions.
As our Clubhouse is accredited through Clubhouse International, part of your responsibility will be to ensure we continue to uphold the requirements of our accreditation, and standards, and you have or are willing to attend Clubhouse International Colleague Training.
You are comfortable working side-by-side with staff and members in a generalist role where you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities across the breadth of our offerings. You will work 5 days a week and be available to work 1 evening per month, weekends and statutory holidays as needed. As the role may involve driving members and staff to events and activities, you will have access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance. You will also be required to have had 2 vaccinations minimum, for Covid-19, hold Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 or equivalent and CPR. Since you will be working with a vulnerable sector, you understand the requirement for the satisfactory completion of a Criminal Records Check.
This position is full time (36 hours per week).
