Entertainment & Talent Coordinator

About the position

The position of Entertainment/Talent Coordinator will be part of the XWG Entertainment team and work closely with the operation team in Canada. The role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day training affairs of talents; executing performance-related matters including but not limited to live-streaming and social media recordings and seeking out future business opportunities for talents.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all talent candidates, conduct all interviews, generate talent assessments and maintain appropriate recruitment status reports
• Work closely with the operation team, the coordinator relays final details, answers questions, provide feedbacks, and gets approvals with daily routines
• Serves as the liaison between XWG Asia/Global team, talents, production, talent trainers and all relevant personnels.
• Keep up with the master calendar of all talent activities and all scheduled events and updates it continuously
• Participate in various performance, live-streaming and filming projects, and resolve unexpected situations to ensure the optimal utilization of all development resources and the efficiency of project progresses
• Prepare required training programs to achieve all talent development objectives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1+ years experience in media or entertainment-related industry
• Bilingual, fluent in both English and Chinese for global team communication
• Familiar with influencer operations and management in social networks such as Instagram and Tiktok
• Comfortable with meetings in global timezone and fast-paced startup environment
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to handle conflict and carry out teamwork
• Have a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license

Good to have:

• ACG-Lover (Animation, Comics, and Games)
• Graphic, visual design and video editing skills such as Figma, Final Cut etc.
• Basic knowledge with Gaming and WEB3 industries
• An automobile that you can utilize for the work

Salary: From $42,000.00 per year
