Description of the ideal candidate
1) A responsible and enterprising person who understands business operations, is good at business inquiry and can assist the President in his pursuit of business development.

4) A results-oriented person with experience in managing tension and conflict, who can manage multiple priorities and complete projects on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Develops and coordinates administrative policies and procedures for the President.
2) Analyze incoming and outgoing memos, submissions, reports and prepare submission of summary briefs and reports to the President.
3) Prepares agendas and arrangements for meetings of the President as well as taking notes/keeping records of meetings.
4) Conducts research, compiles data, and prepares papers that requires the President’s decision.
5) Meet with individuals, special interest groups and others to discuss issues, assess, and recommend courses of action on behalf of the President.
6) Liaises on behalf of the President with departmental and corporate officials as well as other organizations and associations.
7) Establish and maintain an information archiving system.
8) Maintain the President’s personal social accounts.
9) Provide translation support for the President in English and Mandarin.
10) Other support duties. (Subsequent assignments may be made as required. Outside of normal working hours, dealing with urgent matters as necessary)
Workload / Pace
1) The workload is rated at 40 hours per week at normal proficiency levels. However, in the event of work that is not covered by the assistant’s current personal knowledge and experience, time used for additional learning and exploration will be required at the assistant’s own expense.
2) There is a high degree of freedom in working hours and the work is result-oriented.
Employment requirements: language, education, and experience
1) English at native language level. Mandarin at business conversation level.
2) Course work in public administration, political science, business management, financial accounting or a related field, university or college education.
3) Three years’ experience in an executive assistant role in a business enterprise, or transferable experience.

Note: There is a flexible range of recruitment qualification requirements and a flexible range of remuneration levels.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary: 50-100K CAD/year. There is a flexible range of tenure levels, and the salary level corresponds to it. As the level of tenure increases, the salary increases accordingly and can go beyond 100K CAD/year.
