Job duties:
Co-ordinate air freight and ocean freight shipments with internal departments and with customers.
Will need to interact with customers and agents located in Asia region including China.
Prepare reports such as daily logs for shipments, storage, process of shipments etc.
Receiving, answering, and responding to customer’s requests, by phone, email or in person.
Book airfreight and ocean freight shipments with vendors according to the customer request.
Create files for shipments, ensure paper work has been sent to all necessary parties, transfer shipment to and from vendor, and ensure proper storage for inbound shipments.
Data entry in the computer operations program as well as creating all necessary shipping documentation.
Arrange and coordinate shipments pick-ups and deliveries, helping out in warehouse department with movements of shipments if needed.
Collaborate with local and overseas agents to arrange airfreight, ocean freight, custom clearance.
To perform duties as assigned by management.

Starting wage can be negotiated – depends on experience in forwarding industry and Asian market.
Language – English is required. Will need to have phone conversation and text/email in foreign language including Chinese for Asian business.
Computer: Cargowise skill is as an asset.
Education:
High school completion or up
