Company Introduction:
T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 29 stores across the country: 13 in BC, 6 in Alberta, and 10 in Ontario. The Company’s continuous expansion is bringing forward its first-ever store in Montreal, Quebec and 3 more new stores in BC, Alberta, and Ontario, all set to open in 2022/2023.
The Role:
Reporting to Assistant Manager, Human Resources, this permanent full-time position is responsible for training and talent development duties and support various HR-related functions and special projects upon needs.
Major Responsibilities:
LMS Administration
- Create and fine-tune e-learning courses by iSpring, Storyline or other tools
- Assign e-learning courses and work on reporting, and maintain training record
- Respond to LMS functions related inquiries, and address issues by coordinating with HRIS team
- Test and proofread E-learning courses
Training Support & Facilitation
- Support logistics for in-class & online training
- Explore training needs, conduct training survey and analysis
- Edit training materials
- Facilitate training sessions upon request
Talent Development
- Screen qualified candidates based on talent program requirements
- Support logistics of talent pool assessment from test arrangement, interview arrangement to post interview data consolidation and final report.
- Maintain talent pool profiles and records
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources or business-related area
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, working knowledge in Learning and Talent Development is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A self-learner to pick up new technology quickly
- Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills; fluent in English; speaking, reading and typing Chinese is an asset; knowledge of French is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of integrity and ethics, able to handle confidential information professionally
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
