Scion Law LLP is a growing boutique firm providing tax, trust and estate planning advice and related litigation in downtown Vancouver. Our energetic team is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to:
1. provide practice management support, including
- developing administrative procedures;
- performing conflicts checks;
- opening files and closing files;
- general administrative support;
2. assist with financial aspects of the practice, including:
- maintaining financial records and making bookkeeping entries;
- billing and collections;
- paying vendors;
- ordering supplies;
3. complete the digitization of our practice, including:
- updating and maintaining our conflicts database;
- working with our vendors to maintain our practice and document management systems;
- working with our IT providers to maintain our computers and peripherals, and troubleshoot other minor technological issues;
- improving office efficiencies.
The candidate should have graduated from a recognized and relevant university or college program and be able to work independently.
Fluency in technology is essential—the candidate should be able to learn and operate various software systems independently using online resources.
We are seeking a candidate who is independent, self-motivated, and interested in working with a new firm trying new things. The ideal candidate would take initiative and share ideas as a key member of the firm.
