Deltason Trading Ltd. is a seafood and produce importer and distributor in Richmond, BC. Our company was established in 1998 with a dream of bringing in fresh and high-quality Asian ingredients to the increasingly diverse population of Canada. Since 2000, our company has expanded its range of products, by introducing even more fresh produce from Asian, such as fragrant pears, Asian pears, dragon fruit, longan, lychee, as well as many other vegetables. In conjunction with the rise of food service businesses, our company has started a food processing division in 2015, aiming to provide top restaurant-quality foods for our customers to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes. These products include dim sum, meat products, prepackaged sauces, and pre-cut vegetables. To continue expanding our import and export market, we are now looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help us grow our company.

Basic Qualifications:
– More than 3 years of experience in sale & marketing industry
– Bachelor Degree in marketing, advertising or related field
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe required
– Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing
– Highly effective verbal and written communicator
– Punctual, reliable, and relentless in the pursuit of success
– Keen attention to detail and highly organized
– Willingness to continue to learn new skills required to be successful
– Proficiency in both verbal and written English
– Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is an asset but not a requirement
Job Descriptions:
– Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities
– Implement marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content
– Create branded advertising campaigns and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content
– Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
– Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage
– Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels
– Develop and manage all internal communication systems
– Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues
– Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts
– Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors
– Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
– Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management
– Other duties as assigned
