We are currently looking for a Marketing Copywriter.

Job Responsibilities:

The Marketing Copywriter, will report directly to the President, and is responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for a specific merchandise category or categories. This role will be responsible for supporting the overall company voice and translating marketing objectives into engaging and effective copy. The responsibility includes the development and successful implementation of merchandise programs and marketing plans, and cooperation with different store managers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts alongside President, while working on a day-to-day basis with Marketing Director, Store Managers.
  • Supporting creative campaign development and messaging
  • Managing brand copy guidelines to ensure copy is on-concept, accurate, and on-brief
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to draft creative briefs that outline campaign expectations and guidance for the development of marketing materials. Inform briefs by providing goals, key insights, offer details, key messages, target audiences and measures of success
  • Develop toolkit for store managers to localize programs for their markets to deepen community connection
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must be bilingual of English and Chinese
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines in high-pressure situations
  • A highly motivated self-starter and collaborator
  • Strong time-management, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Sound understanding of the retail industry is preferred
