ACE Health Care is a specialist medical clinic located near Metrotown, Burnaby. We are looking for new Medical Office Assistants to join our expanding clinic. We require a detail-oriented, organized individual with an energetic, bright, and warm personality who is highly motivated to learn and grow with our expanding practice. The successful candidate will thrive working in a positive and engaging team while being able to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving, accountability, and dependability are integral to this role.

- Formal MOA training certification is an asset
- Knowledge and Experience with the Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) is an asset
- Work experience as an MOA with reference is an asset
Some duties include:
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients
- Answering office email and messages from doctors
- Assisting the specialist physicians to optimize patient care including organizing laboratory tests, imaging scans, patient referrals and communicating with allied health care providers.
- Assisting in general medical administrative duties (running patients, answering phones, organizing patient appointment, cleaning & tidying of clinic)
- Ensuring exam rooms are kept stocked and ordering supplies as necessary
- Perform clinical duties such as vital signs, obtaining patient information and preparing rooms for clinical procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: $15.65-$23.00 per hour
