The successful candidate will work in a clinical environment working closely with the eye surgeons to provide patient care. This will consist of patient registration, performing diagnostic preliminary testing, surgery coordinating, scheduling of appointments, answering telephone calls and a variety of other front desk duties which help in maintaining patient flow.
We are looking for a team member who meets the following prerequisites:
· Excellent English communication skills, fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset
· Ophthalmology/medical office experience is preferred but not necessary
· Proficiency with computers and strong keyboarding skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced team environment as well as work independently
· Highly motivated with the ability to follow through on tasks to completion
· Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow
· Professional appearance
This position is full time and salary is dependent on experience and skill, therefore competitive and negotiable. There will be a three month probation period. Position is available immediately.
