Job Description: *
This is an office job for a small company that is moving to a new facility in 2021. We are looking for a tech savvy person who can organize our office, do bookkeeping and purchase/receive materials. Your role will be integral to the success of the company. Some work from home (~1 hour) is required on weekends. Position is available immediately.

We are a small food manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We are looking for some great employees to grow with us as we take the business to the next level. We are located on Broadway Street in Port Coquitlam and are moving into a new facility later this year on Kingsway Ave Port Coquitlam.
Responsibilities and Duties: *
Coordinate all our office jobs and tasks
Taking customer orders and invoicing
Bookkeeping
Forecasting materials needs, orders & receiving materials (moving up to 40 pound boxes)
Coordinate delivery of orders with drivers
Some remote work necessary in the morning on weekends (can be done on a computer/laptop)
Answering phone calls
Help with production as needed if shorthanded
Full-time salaried ($40,000-$45,000 per year or ~$20-22 per hour)
Hours: Mon-Fri ~9am-3pm core hours (flexible outside of this time), some work on stat holidays might be needed in rotation with other office staff
Qualifications: *
Detail oriented
Bookkeeping knowledge/experience
Physically fit (lifting up to 40 pounds)
Good communicator with customer service skills
Solid computer skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to learn new programs such as Google Gmail, Docs, Drive, Quickbooks online with online documentation/training manuals
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a future forklift certification (training will be provided)
Fluent in English
1-2 years office administration or coordination experience
Nice to have: *
Experience working in a modern, cloud based office environment
Experience implementing an employee training program
Experience setting up procedures, checkpoints, and controls in an office
Ability to take on special office projects & assist in doing research
Ability to organize our virtual library/documentation
Assist in writing business plans
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Ability to speak other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Albanian, Polish, Greek, etc
