Job Description
We are a young law firm with offices in Richmond and Burnaby. The practice is diverse with a heavy focus on civil litigation and family law. We currently have openings for experienced litigation paralegals or NCA students. The position entails:
corresponding with law offices, courts, and clients to schedule matters;
drafting letters and documents such as affidavits at the instructions and supervision of the lawyer;
prepare court documents including but not limited requisitions, draft orders, briefs, applications, and pleadings at the instructions and supervision of the lawyer;
conducting due diligence work on litigants and for transaction work; and
managing file progress.
We serve mainly the Chinese speaking community so Mandarin skills would be desirable.
