We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist with a strong work ethic to join our dynamic team on a part time basis. Days of work will be on Sundays and casual shifts will arise as well.
This would be excellent for someone looking to make some disposable income in addition to their other employment, or for someone looking to get back into the workforce.

In your position as a PT Pharmacist, you will be reporting to our Pharmacy Manager and working cooperatively with other staff.
Some key responsibilities include:
Accepting prescriptions or refill requests from customers, doctors or hospitals and ensuring that they are dispensed accurately and effectively.
Maintain customer medication profiles and records.
Providing consultation on medication information and advice regarding administration, usage, indications, contra-indications, drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper storage.
Ensure proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticals.
Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products.
Compliance with all Federal & Provincial legislation.
Reporting any self made or found dispensing errors to our Pharmacy Manager.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
Operate Pharmacy computer, register equipment and other assigned tools.
Experience in retail pharmaceutical systems and dispensing procedures.
Good working knowledge of BC Pharmacare and Third Party billing policies, including follow up and collection.
Abilities/ Skill Sets:
Clear communication (written and verbal), strong listening skills, and a positive attitude.
Excellent time management capabilities, organization, and flexibility.
Willingness to learn, to develop new skills, and be open to new ideas.
Presents a clean and professional image, mature communication style, and proper phone etiquette.
Cantonese/Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy and Pharmacist License is required; must be in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
Injection Certification.
Current First Aid.
1+ years experience.
