We are hiring for a *part time, permanent Pharmacy Assistant *at our *Save-On-Foods Richmond (Ironwood) location*. The *Pharmacy Assistant* will contribute to the success of the store by Going the Extra Mile while demonstrating our company mission of Care, Commitment and Passion.
You will be responsible for: *
Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
Inputting all patient and prescription information into computer.
Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
Communicating allergy, interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.
You have: *
You must have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
Pharmacy Assistant Program Courses with practical component is preferred.
Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
Excellent communication and Customer Service skills.
Kroll computer experience is an asset.
Able to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Interest and ability to be cross trained in departments outside of the Pharmacy department.
