a. Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above. Film production and other related majors are preferred.
- Be practical and conscientious in work.
- Be good at communicating and cooperating with the team.
- Abundant film and television network resources are preferred.
- Bilingual candidates (Mandarin and English) preferred.
b. Required knowledge and abilities:
- Possesses the ability to secure all or part of the financing needed for the production.
- Demonstrates the ability to create and control the production budget throughout the entire project.
- Shows excellent communication skills which are necessary for working with everyone who is part of the filming project.
- Understands the legal responsibilities that are involved in maintaining the health and safety of the production crew.
- Demonstrates that he or she can ensure that all the crew and cast are able to meet regulations and codes of practice.
- Can work very well under extreme amounts of pressure while still motivating the production team.
c. Required skills:
- Plan, organize and direct the artistic aspects of production.
- Oversee the design of sets, costumes, furnishings, and props.
- Organize and co-ordinate production.
- Interpret scripts, select the cast, and advise in the interpretation and delivery of the performance.
- Determine lighting, lenses, camera angles and backgrounds.
- Determine treatment, scope, and scheduling of production.
- Co-ordinate and direct the photography of production.
- Edit motion picture film and arrange film segments into sequences.
