Reco Decoration Group is a Design and Build company that provides interior design, construction, project management, millwork, and interior finishing services. We specialize in retail, food services and supermarket projects in both commercial and institutional sectors across Western Canada. We are looking for a construction project coordinator/designer to join our team.
The construction project coordinator will oversee all aspects of onsite construction activities. To be successful, the individual must be reliable, flexible, organized, and detailed- oriented. The applicant must also have strong written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities would include:
- Prepare, update and manage all construction schedules and budgets.
- Provide internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Monitor and guide compliance with building and safety regulations
- Ensure project timeline and scope of work are met with expected quality standard
- AutoCAD drafting / layout design
- Arrange on-site meetings as needed
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in construction coordinator or similar role is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task, think critically and make independent decisions
- Ability to effectively manage site personnel. A team player
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
- High-level proficiency in MS Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- A valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
