Receptionist / Administrative Assistant – Permanent Role
Ken K. Wong & Associates is a well established professional Land Surveying company founded in 1957. We focus on local renovation and construction projects and our clients range from home owners to large development companies. Through our 60 years located in the North Burnaby area, we have established a large loyal clientele.
This position will provide a wide variety of confidential and administrative services to assist the President/Owner. This individual must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Day to day office duties and staff management
Assist the Project Manager with maintaining the daily project list and status updates
Work closely with the Company’s president on confidential files and information
Assist in answering the phone
Qualifications
1+ years in an Administrative Assistant role is an asset but required
Experience in a multi-tasking and diverse role
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong knowledge of Excel,Word, Outlook (MS Office) and Google Docs
Strong communication and customer service skills – pleasant and professional phone etiquette
Strong written and typing skills – required for preparing documents, letters and emails
Action oriented, able to work independently
Positive, solution oriented attitude
Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset but not required
Additional Information
Effective start date: Immediately
Full Time position
Hours: 8:30 to 5:00 Monday to Friday
