EMC Pharmacy is a newly established member of the multi-disciplinary group practice at Elida Medical Centre, which consists of Family Physicians, Specialists, Registered Counsellors, Rehab Therapists, Registered Nurse, and Clinical Pharmacists. Join us in our quest to provide accessible, excellent, and innovative healthcare to our community, especially the frail and elderly. Our office is spacious, newly renovated and modern. The team is very friendly and supportive.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Handle third-party billing, insurance claims, and resolve related issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service and support through phone, in-person, and email
- Manage inventory and maintain a well-organized pharmacy space
- Stay informed about industry trends to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Coordinate prescription deliveries, tracking orders and troubleshooting issues as needed
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician certification in the province of British Columbia and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
- Experience using Kroll pharmacy software is an asset
- Multilingual (Cantonese, Mandarin and English) language skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
- Registered Pharmacy Technician work experience highly preferred but not required
