Taka’s Sushi, concentrate on high-end traditional Japanese Sushi with fusion style, omakase option with special seasonal imports from Japanese fish market, using traditional ingredient, unique marination and aging technique, attention to details and presentation, with philosophy of simple, pure Edomae style, ensure an exclusive unique dining experience. Menu only offer premium traditional Nigiri & aburi sushi, Sashimi, and Maki/Rolls with some specialty itmes depending on the seasons. NO KITCHEN FOOD (No noodle, teriyaki, teppanyaki, deep-fried etc.)
Job Duty
– strong language skills and people skills, conversational mandarin is a bonus in addition to English
– at least one year of experience working in the restaurant industry
– excellent interpersonal skills, guest service, and oral/written communication skills, being able to communicate with customers with daily specials, dietary restriction and answer concerns or questions
– strong computer and POS skills
– the ability to train effectively and execute to deliver a great guest experience
– passion for Japanese food, beverage and all things related to the restaurant business

– assisting to organize and maintain inventory
– some kitchen duties and clean and maintain the kitchen at all times during the shift and closing at the end of the shift
– dishwashing, turning over tables, tea refills, take-out orders, general preping (Soy sauce, chopsticks, drinks) and stock and report daily operation needs
– address customer’s complaints or concerns and provide customer service
– interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
– maintain a high standard of food safety and cleanliness! Abosultely MUST!
– be a team player, able to perform under pressure and coordinate with other team member to work as a team
Compensation
– wage depends on the experience and skills, will be adjusted over time with performance
– work 5 days a week, weekdays and weekends
– 8 to 10 hours with over time (with 1 hour lunch break)
– holiday pay and vacation pay 4%
