We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Vancouver, BC, Canada head office. The candidate will need to be a motivated self-starter and has the ability to cultivate and nurture key relationships in the hospitality and design industry.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and fostering business relationships in the Vancouver Showroom
- Generating solutions and quotes for clients
- Creating and closing sales
- Prospecting and developing new accounts and relationships
- Providing information and ensuring an outstanding sales experience
- Managing current accounts to ensure company and client satisfaction
- Handling day-to-day customer care
- Managing a team of external sales representatives
- Support and attend business and design industry networking events and activities
- Plan and attend trades shows and design events with the marketing team across Canada and the United States
Requirements:
Ideally the successful candidate should be energetic and passionate about design as well as be able to perform each of his/her duties in a timely and effective manner. The requirements listed below represent the minimum level of knowledge, skill and ability necessary:
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience in sales
- College graduate, Fluent in English
- Excellent computer knowledge and Word and Excel skills
- Exceptional communication skills are essential – both orally and written
- Design or Architectural background a plus
- Attention to Detail
- Able to travel within Canada and US
