Job Description
Phase One (six to eight weeks):
The successful candidate will be awarded an amount of $5,000 contract fee for developing a comprehensive business plan for a social enterprise platform with focus on wholesale on-line order and delivery service. The business plan will include, but not limit to, the logistics, financial, human resources, marketing, legal and social aspects of the proposed social enterprise
Phase Two (two to three years)
The successful candidate may be awarded a longer term contract in running the social enterprise with the following major purposes:
a. To provide a platform for young adults to explore employment and self-employment opportunities during and after the pandemic.
b. To provide affordable on-line order and delivery service for grocery and food items to low-income families and vulnerable groups in the Greater Vancouver Area.
c. To proclaim the Gospel through holistic care.
Qualification and other requirements:
1. Proven record in business development in local Canadian markets
2. Demonstrated leadership in planning, organizing, motivating, communicating and networking.
3. Experience in social enterprises an asset
4. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
5. Good team player
6. Fully support CCM Vision, Mission and Faith Statement
