We are looking for a Software Development Manager (NOC0213) to manage our team to design, develop, implement and operate E-commerce software project. It is a full-time position (35hours/week), $46/hour, paid on a semi-monthly basis with 10 days of paid vacation. This employment is for an indefinite period. Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the design process of our E-commerce project, and the key products include PC, APPs, Mini Program and etc
Coordinating with our tech development team located in China and our operational staff located locally in Vancouver
Responsible for project planning, monitoring developmental progression and optimizing product performance
Analyze customer needs under current and future market conditions, and make decisions to improve the product accordingly and continuously
Estimate the scope of development, and quickly respond to the unexpected changes in requirement and consumer demand; Estimate the cost and expected length time of development
Proficient in using SWOT to analyze company’s products strengths and weaknesses
Responsible for maintaining relationship with business merchants by solving problems of business merchants and expanding their resources
Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities, supervising and guiding operational work such as event planning
Qualifications:
Completion of university degree or above, major in computer science or a related field is required
At least 3 years of IT project management is required. E-commerce product planning experience is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Experience in managing, executing and implementing a fully developed SaaS-like product design process
Proficiency in Axure, Xmind, Visio, Office and other common product design related softwares and be able to write PRD files as required
Good understanding of big data analyzation and expert in dealing with complicated data logic
Strong team coordination and management skill
Has worked in first-tier Chinese Internet firms such as Tecent, didi, ctrip and other Internet enterprises is an asset
