We are currently searching for a SCRUM Master in our Stanley Products & Solutions Group based out of our 3xLOGIC Victoria branch, situated in beautiful Victoria, BC, Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. This role largely involves remote work from home office.

The Opportunity:

The Scrum Master will guide and coach application development teams for 3xLOGIC’s line of VIGIL products. This position will help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints by following Agile methodolgies. The Scrum Master should be a self-starter and independent individual that is comfortable supporting and coaching multiple teams in Agile best practices with the confidence to guide the teams and remove impediments in achieving higher Scrum maturity. In addition, this individual will be responsible for collecting information and data on Scrum maturity levels within the team and presenting this to stakeholders. Overall, the Scrum Master is responsible for promoting, supporting, and growing Scrum maturity amongst the teams.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Be the Agile Scrum subject matter expert on multiple Application Development teams.
• Lead and coach scrum ceremonies, facilitating daily standups for each team, providing cross-team coordination, and clearing blockers for team members.
• Work independently to assess, guide, coach, and mentor Product Owners, Development Teams, and Stakeholders to achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity, self-organization, and cross-functioning.
• Provide and report on metrics like sprint velocity, capacity, and time to market.
• Ensure interruptions to sprint activity are minimized and deflected to product governance.
• Help Product Owners in managing and streamlining work intake and prioritization processes.
• Support Product Owners in effective Product Backlog management.
• Work with BAs, Product Owners, and functional team managers to troubleshoot delivery concerns and ensure accountable, transparent progress against business objectives.
• Build a culture of trust to facilitate healthy conflict resolution working directly with engineering resources to fine tune team dynamics and ensure a healthy team.
• Guide the team through user story development and refinement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Agile Certification
• 3 or more years of experience in Agile environment as a Scrum Master
• Strong mentoring skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in Mandarin
