We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a Supply Planner, you will oversee the entire production planning process, guaranteeing synchronization between inventory levels and projected demand, all while maintaining efficient production schedules, performance monitoring, proactively updating stakeholders, and collaborating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive methodologies will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing operations. This position reports to the Planning Manager.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
- Develop weekly production plans, issue work orders, and monitor order status.
- Prioritize requirements across Manufacturing, Inventory, and Quality.
- Coordinate with Procurement to manage material expedites/de-expedites.
- Create short-term planning forecasts (3-4 weeks) taking into consideration inventory, lead times, and capacity.
- Lead the weekly production planning meetings.
- Provide timely feedback on issues that could potentially disrupt production planning.
- Manage internal demand originating from Material Requests (MR).
- Coordinate product phase-in and phase-out activities with Engineering, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Purchasing teams to minimize Excess and Obsolete inventory.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategize actions to rectify discrepancies.
- Responsible for the accuracy of planning parameters in the ERP system, to ensure demand and supply alignment.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, or Demand Planning roles
Compensation
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
- $85,000 – 112,000 (CAD Annually)
