Junior Systems Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an intermediate Systems Administrator. The systems administrator will gain exposure to all aspects of our business from live stream media to e-sports while supporting a global team and contributing to award winning games.
What You Will Do:
You will support a complex mix of on premise and cloud environment
Administer and troubleshoot tools and services such as AWS, Ali Cloud, Slack, MS Exchange, Windows & Linux servers, network devices such as routers and firewalls
Perform Sysadmin responsibilities on rotation, including:
Systems administration with Windows and Linux tech,Amazon web services,
Network administration
Security patching & backups
Pagerduty & incident response
Perform help desk responsibilities on rotation, including:
Assist internal users experiencing operational, software, hardware, or network connectivity problems with their computer systems
First level support and collaborate / escalate unresolved queries to your colleagues
Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of support tickets
Upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance on desktops, printers, phones, and other equipment
Collaborate in Team Meetings, Project Sprints, and other forums locally and with our China offices
Work on complex technical projects in an agile environment
Who You Are:
You have 4-7 years of desktop/server/network/webpage support experience and a combination of relevant post secondary education in Information Technology
You have previous experience providing maintenance and strong troubleshooting skills on Win 10, MS Office, printers, network, and cloud servers
Ideally, you have worked in the gaming or live broadcasting industry before
Ideally, you have worked in a start up environment before and enjoy working through the gray area to be able to contribute your thoughts and ideas toward who we become. You recognize we don’t always have the answer, but you want to be part of determining the solution.
You have experience installing, patching, configuring and troubleshooting cloud servers, especially for gaming or live broadcasting
You have experience in managing LAN, WAN, and virtualized network environments including routing, firewall rules, VPNs
You have experience installing and troubleshooting applications
You can build, configure, and setup of computers
You have experience providing Desktop support in a Windows environment
Bonus points if you have written and oral working ability in Mandarin
You are legally entitled to work in Canada
