Job description
Aukoo Technology is seeking a technician ideally with 1 or more years of security industry field experience. If you are not in the security industry already but have a keen interest to develop your career in the security industry, we are interested in speaking with you. We are looking for a person who has excellent problem-solving ability and is able to learn the latest HikVision surveillance equipment, both hardware and software. Customer service experience is an asset to assist customers through port forwarding and other related surveillance technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Security system servicing, and troubleshooting – this includes password resets, network configuration.
- Remote assistance customers through phone, application and IP remote access.
- Maintaining a friendly relationship with customers.
- Coordinate with the Hikvision tech team to solve both hardware and software issues.
- Provide customer training as required and assist the sales team as required.
- Ability to work independently or as a team member.
Requirements:
- Experience in the security industry or security systems (preferred)
- Mandarin-speaking ability an asset
- Basic knowledge of low voltage systems
- Basic networking (port forwarding, DHCP reservation, DDNS, etc
Contract length: 12 months
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
