What does a great Territory Manager do?
Clover is taking over! From payments to Point-of-Sale software, Clover is the platform that does it all. Our growth has become unparalleled and we are further expanding our team and in search of a dynamic Territory Manager who can help us OWN the assigned market. This B2B sales position is responsible for new business development – selling our proprietary point-of-sale solution, Clover.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with our existing referral channels, as well as identify and develop new partners. You will tirelessly network and prospect within your market to identify and close new business. You will build and manage a pipeline of business, moving the various opportunities throughout the sales cycle, and successfully close the sale.
As a Territory Manager, you can look forward to:
Building market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships
Selling and negotiating pricing and contract terms with potential opportunities
Managing and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, with consistent follow-up on both inbound and outbound sales leads
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners, both existing and new
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Minimum 2+ years sales experience
Merchants Services, Point-of-Sale or software sales experience is strongly preferred
Excellent and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment
Post-Secondary Education; or equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Bilingual skills in Mandarin or Cantonese
