Qualifications
- 5+ years of travel consulting experience.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems, GDS, and online travel tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of popular travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel regulations, with knowledge of the North American travel market, an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal fluency in English, with knowledge of French, Cantonese or Mandarin, an asset.
- Valid work authorization.
Job Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Understanding clients’ preferences, budgets, and travel requirements to design tailored itineraries.
- Working with all guests and providing expert advice on vacation arrangements to maximize their experience and value.
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel planning process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Using preferred suppliers or approved suppliers to both research and book vacation components.
- Handle reservations, ticketing, and all other administrative tasks related to travel bookings.
- Maintaining an organized filing system and proper notes regarding all communication and information pertaining to guests’ files.
- Handling customer complaints in a professional manner.
