Job Description
Tutors
Candidates to tutor children from ages 3 up to Grade 12. Opportunities are available for tutors to work on a permanent part-time or flexible basis with flexible working hours. Tutors must be resourceful and must have a passion to teach and multi-task. Competitive salaries and training are provided on an on-going basis.
Pre-Requisites
Bachelors degree or post-secondary education
Able to tutor any of the following levels
Working hours 2.30-6.30pm, Mondays-Fridays, potentially some weekends
Renumeration: $18/hour depending on experience
Pre-school and Elementary School Tutors (Grade 1-7)
- Ability to work with children
- Good communication skills
- Able to interact with children and parents
- Ability to tutor Math, Reading & Writing programs, occasionally simple story telling
Tutors for Chinese/French Classes (Grade 1-7)
- Good command of Chinese or French skills, both verbal and written
- Good communication skills
- Able to interact with children and parents
Tutors for High School level (Grade 8-12)
- Students attending High School or attending post-secondary institutions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to tutor any or all of the following subjects:
o Grade 8-12 Foundation Math
o Pre-Calculus
o Calculus
o Physics (Normal, IB or AP levels)
o Chemistry (Normal, IB or AP levels)
o Biology
o English
o SAT/SSAT Prep programs
o University admission application assistance
