We provide both home-based and centre-based intervention for families and children affected by Autism.
The Position: *
Tutor/ Behaviour Interventionist*
We are looking for energetic, fun, creative, responsible individuals to work with children from 2-17 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We provide both home-based and centre-based intervention so all staff might be required to travel between sessions.
Hours are flexible. We open 7 days a week so weekend sessions are possible.
Working Hours: *
We are looking for a few BIs to fill some after school slots and to support in pre-school or daycare settings during the day.

Job Description*:
You will be working in a team with a behaviour consultant (BCBA) and 2 -3 other team members.
You will implement the child’s individualized educational plan created by the BCBA.
Training will be provided by a BCBA or a senior BI.
You will be attending an initial training workshop and on-going workshops.
You will be collecting data, recording the child’s progress, and attending monthly meetings
You will provide a fun learning environment for the child
Requirements for Behaviour Interventionist: *
A degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related educational background is asset.
University students are welcome to apply.
For experienced BI position, you must have at least 1 years of experience working as a BI or have obtained a BCaBA or have completed a BI or ABA related programs and you need to have at least 600 hours of working experience as a behaviour interventionist under a BCBA’s supervision.
Fluent in English (knowledge of other language(s), such as Mandarin/Cantonese, is asset)
You need to have positive attitude, strong play skills, are able to take constructive feedback and able to implement it immediately
Completion of Criminal Record Checked
Must be at least 19 years old
Have a reliable transportation
Must be able to commit to the job for 2 years
Part-time hours: 15-35 per week
