Founded in 2016, Vast Sagacity is an expert in agriculture products export and distribution. The company’s team has been rooted in Canadian agriculture, animal husbandry, aquaculture product export and China’s manufacture and process industries. It has experiences of operation on internet e-commerce and resources of both country in bilateral trade between China and Canada. The company relies on traditional sales channels domestically and overseas with an Internet e-commerce platform to realize the “Internet +” industrial upgrade and to provide a full range of B2B and B2C services for commercial trade between the two countries.
The Vice President is directly accountable to the board of Directors for the performance of the company. He/she is in charge of developing supply chain markets for meat, edible oil products and raw material for bakery in North America while expanding sales channels mainly in China. The Vice President oversees internal operations, helps to build strong customer relationships and maximizes the company’s operating performance.
Responsibilities:
– Assisting the board of directors to design the company’s overall mission, values, and strategic goals.
– Attending meetings with the board of directors and sharing company’s recent performance and data.
– Leading, guiding, and evaluating the work of other employees, and ensuring a healthy working environment.
– Contributing to sales innovations and strategic business development in the market of China.
– Evaluating the progress of company’s business development and formulating plans to correct any issues if the company is not achieving its goals.
– Managing the daily operations and revenue generation of the company and ensuring its continual growth.
– Assisting in maximizing the company’s operating performance and achieving its financial goals.
– Maintaining awareness of competitors, expansion opportunities, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
· Minimum of 10 years’ managerial experience in a managerial role in food export or related industry.
· Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and leadership skills.
· Demonstrated ability of management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
· An innovative and motivational mentality.
· Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups in a variety of situations including stressful and sensitive situations. Ability to communicate in Chinese is a valuable asset.
· Preference will be given to qualified applicants who already have resources in sales channels of meat and manufacturing in China
· A master’s degree in business administration.
· Be able to travel overnight and internationally.
