Constant research and development initiatives has allowed them to achieve one of the top spots in the food industry. They are extremely dedicated to their clients, supporting and collaborating with them to ensure they are producing the highest quality product imaginable. Not only do they attend to their client’s production and distribution operational needs, they also help develop their food formulas for optimal quality.
They source their production equipment from all over the world to ensure they are constantly using the most technologically advanced and effective state of the art machinery. Their highly experienced research and development team are constantly creating cutting edge formulas and processes for their clients. Now they are looking for a Vice President of Production who will lead the production and QA teams into the forefront of the food industry.

About the Position:
Reporting directly to the President of the company, the Vice President of Production will be responsible for but not limited to:
Responsible for all operational aspects pertaining to production, quality assurance and logistics/distribution.
Planning and forecasting production yields for daily, monthly and quarterly production goals and KPIs.
Developing and implementing strategies to increase production output, efficiency as well as QC/QA procedures.
Sourcing for new production and QA machinery in the national and international market
Communication with clients and vendors to ensure needs are met and exceeded on a daily basis
Supporting, coaching and mentoring direct supervisors and production/QA workers to be high performance team members
Collaborating with colleagues in the executive management team on major operational improvement projects
Job Requirements:
Masters/PHD in Food Science or related field
A minimum of 8 years of high level production management experience with teams as large as 40+
Must be bilingual in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese
A minimum of 8 years experience with HACCP, ISO9001 and ISO2200
Proven track record of designing and implementing continuous improvement projects and initiatives
Proven experience managing and mentoring a high-performance production/QA team. This position requires an individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Able to work in an extremely fast pace environment and achieve production goals
Compensation:
Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000/year depending on experience
