Welcoming Kinesiologist to join our team

Our clinic is seeking a highly motivated Kinesiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing exercise programs for patients, conducting assessments, and providing therapy to help patients recover from injuries, disabilities, and medical conditions.

Job expectations:
Evaluate patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations

• Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients
• Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patients’ progress
• Provide therapy and rehabilitation to help patients recover from injuries and disabilities
• Work with other healthcare professionals, such as Chiropractors, RMT, Pilates intructor to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients’ progress and treatments
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies

– Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with BCAK
– Perform assessments and write assessment reports
– Develop and implement programs based on assessments
– Individual or group personal training sessions
– Cross-trained in cold laser therapy (certification paid for)
– Charting

Assets:

– Second language (Mandarin Preferred)
– Standard First Aid with CPR/C
– One year of active rehab experience
– Excellent English oral and written skills

Experience with ICBC/WCB is ideal but not necessary. New graduates are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate lives nearby or has reliable transportation.
